Here’s the thing with politics.. Or at least what I’ve gathered at my young age. Republicans have a lot of great ideas, many of which I agree with. Democrats have many great ideas also. But both parties have flaws that will piss 50% of the country off at some point. And as long as we have people like that anon, the flaws will not be corrected. Intellectual minds need to get together and converse. Not fight. Until that happens, the ridge between our two majority parties will end up breaking this country into two. Taking us back to the beginning. Thought we would have learned in the civil war. Everyone’s not always going to agree, that’ll never happen. But that’s why I’m proud to live here. We are a melting pot of hundreds of different cultures, religions, backgrounds, and ideologies….. And no one has started a raging militia trying to get everyone on the same page, yet. That’s what makes this place great. We have the opportunity to state what we believe.
Stop fighting and start being thankful for the right to be able to say what you want and live how you do.
